Long time, no posty...

Since the time I last posted:
Black mage is at 90, all pieces of + goetia, except for hands. I get to play it not often enough.

Bard is at 90, all pieces of Aiodios +1 except feet and head. I play it too often. Boring job, no wonder those who level it would rather not play it.

White mage is at 90, and I have Orison feet +1. Play it every once in a while. It's better than Bard at least.

Update!

Since last post we had the advent of Abbysea. Needless to say my worries about de-leveling are over. Merited almost to the max.

Windurst, Bastok and Sandoria Dynamis...

All done! Now for Jeuno, and then to the next ones!

Prior to Sandy Dynamis I had got to within 10k exp of leveling before Kae and I got to tired to continue thanks to Loo. Next afternoon was Dynamis Sandoria. I went to 14k tnl... I was not too happy with that, but stuff happens.

After that we went to regain the lost xp and get the remainder needed to hit level 75! Yay! Lect joined in providing the Slot Machine Job assistance. Corsair looks like an interesting job. On the list of eventually I want to play around with that job.

Hit level 75 at last. 4 years in the making. Finally I'm there. Out of my Weskit, which I really do like appearance wise, and into the Redingote. I was throwing off 1100k Blizz and Thunders. Nice.

After real life responsibilities tonight I'll be going to build my buffer. Q says 10k should be enough >.> Yeah, sure. You just want to laugh at the Newbie, I understand. Given the 4k xp loss from Dynamis, I at least need 20k so I could last 2, poss 3 Dynamis without de-leveling.

Not sure how often I died last night. Still figuring out what to do during what feels like the biggest clusterfuck ever. I try to follow the other BLMs examples.

Getting the hang out of Big nuke, run... Stop Slightly smaller nuke, run... Nuke, run... Nuke, run, pray it dies... Oh, shite! NUKE! Maybe die.

Kaelis and I returned to FFXI after almost a years hiatus. We needed some time to try to get stuff going properly at the house. Now we are doing an hour of housework prior to logging in, slowly progress is being made.

I've been a slow leveler during my time in FFXI. I was involved with a newbie linkshell whose goal was to assist other newbies in getting into the game. I enjoyed it, but after a while progress was stunted for me due to assisting others to do things. I was kind of singed at that point too, who wants to do things when you know you are expected to sacrifice your time for not much in return... By not much in return I mean nothing really. Demands for Plevels (No), Food Vending, Tele Taxis, Supply runs (In Dunes, need new armor/ammo) and Gil (hell no).

The fun, silly events were few and far between. Lets mob the Dunes in our swimsuits! Lets farm Giddeus and skill up our Clothe Craft! Lets mass Harvest! Lets kill Bubbling Bernie on level 1 jobs! Special events got less time... I love Easter, Hallowee, Christmas, Valentines and Summer events! I was getting to the point where I was not as able to do them...

Now I'm back and during the return time my job has bounced up from the 60's into the 70's. I'm trying to be as active with the new linkshell as I can between work, housework and life. I find that the current LS offers a lot to me, and encourages game growth at whatever speed I can attain. I know if I need assistance it is just a /tell or /linkshell query away for me. Even more enjoyable, Kaelis and I can share the experience of the higher level stuff together. Thats part of the reason I started to play 4 years ago.
